The right question is not whether Trump can win. It should be “How can he be allowed to Run Again?”
For those who may be wondering what type of data might possibly be backing up the statements I’ve made that were so hopeful in the last piece, I can tell you this There is no polling data or strategy behind my semi-optimistic wish that Biden will be able to prevail if he runs again. I am not sure about Biden winning if there is a new candidate that is not named Trump. This is only operative in the case where Trump and his minions decide to put him on the ballot again. And one of my wishes is not just for Trump to lose. I am hopeful that right will prevail and that Mr. Trump will not be allowed to serve in public office again.
I am not “Pollyanna-ish” enough to believe that Trump will be jailed for his misdeeds and criminal conduct. I do believe that there may be a way to prevent him from being able to run for the Presidency again. That is more of a wish and a hope than any practical entreaty. However, there are several committees and many brilliant legal minds who are certainly working towards that outcome. This is not about a vendetta or a deep-seated hatred for all things Trump. I have often pointed out that there really is only one true hater-in-chief. And no one can hate more or carry more vengeance and malice towards others than Donald Trump! I wouldn’t even presume to compete with that.
However, those who witnessed the last days of his Presidency called into question his fitness for office and even mentioned the 25th Amendment. Trump actively worked to plan an Insurrection and then worked to incite it. Many brilliant minds much smarter than I may attest to this fact. Trump cannot be allowed to run again for the office of President of the United States.
There are certainly indignant Trump-ers who will question how one can dare sully the name of Trump! When Jared Kushner is investigated for his dealings with the Saudi’s plus his financing of his Park Avenue property, and when Ivanka is questioned on her Chinese brand deals as she worked on the White House payroll, then I will hear the reasoning around Hunter Biden’s laptop. Until then…talk to the hand!
The Trump Cabinet was the most corrupt since a combined Teapot Dome Scandal mixed with President Grant’s entire corrupt cabinet! There is no investigation that is ongoing for the grift and corruption that took place. I distinctly remember Trump bragging about his good friend Carl Icahn. As I recall, Mr. Icahn was caught insider trading within days of joining his advisory board….! There is no ongoing investigation of the emoluments clause, or the Trump’s Inaugural Fund that took in $100 Million and have accounted for about 20 percent of the funds. So I don’t want to hear about the “Biden Crime Family.” I’m talking to you, Mrs. Clarence Thomas…Ginni!
Trump should not be allowed anywhere near the Oval Office. And that should be the end of the discussion.
